JABLY has been selected to participate in the 2026 Shinhan Square Bridge Social Open Innovation Program, marking an important step in the company’s expansion into Vietnam. As part of the program, JABLY was paired with MoMo to develop a social-impact Proof of Concept supporting Vietnamese students preparing to study in Korea.
The program brings together startups, local partners, and social-impact organizations to develop practical solutions for challenges in the Vietnamese market.
JABLY’s involvement in the program began with our growing focus on Southeast Asia and, in particular, Vietnam.
As part of the 2026 Shinhan Square Bridge initiative, JABLY presented its vision for expanding its international student and talent-support ecosystem into the Vietnamese market.
During the selection process, JABLY CMO Akhrorbek Yuldashev, supported by Tran Thuy Van Khang, presented the company’s approach and plans for Vietnam.
For JABLY, Vietnam represents more than a new market. It is a rapidly developing education and talent ecosystem with strong interest in Korea, creating an opportunity to build better connections between Vietnamese students and Korean education, career, and settlement pathways.
Following the pitch and evaluation process, JABLY was selected as one of 10 participating startups in the Shinhan Square Bridge Social Open Innovation Program.
The initiative is supported by the Shinhan Financial Group Hope Foundation and coordinated together with organizations including United Way Worldwide and MSD United Way Vietnam.
Each participating startup is connected with a local host organization in Vietnam to develop and test a practical social-impact project.
For JABLY, that partner is MoMo.
This partnership provides an opportunity to combine JABLY’s experience supporting international students in Korea with MoMo’s strong connection to young people and digital users in Vietnam.
The JABLY–MoMo PoC is centered on a simple challenge:
Many Vietnamese students are interested in studying in Korea, but the pathway from interest to actual preparation can be difficult to understand.
Students may need to navigate questions such as:
Which university or major should I choose?
What documents do I need to prepare?
What scholarship opportunities may be available?
How should I plan financially with my family?
What should I prepare before moving to Korea?
How can studying in Korea connect to my longer-term career?
Through the PoC, JABLY aims to explore how these steps can be made more structured, accessible, and easier for students to understand.
The broader goal is not simply to promote studying in Korea, but to help students make better-informed decisions based on their individual situation and future plans.
After the initial online orientation, JABLY participated in the program’s official offline kickoff at Incheon Startup Park.
JABLY was represented by CMO Akhrorbek Yuldashev and Marketing Manager Raoul Moroder.
The kickoff brought together participating startups, program organizers, mentors, and partner organizations to begin the implementation phase.
During the session, teams reviewed their initial project direction, discussed immediate next steps, and began preparing for deeper engagement with their respective Vietnamese partners.
For JABLY, the kickoff marked the transition from selection to execution.
The next stage of the project focuses on understanding the Vietnamese student journey in greater depth.
Rather than developing the PoC only from Korea, JABLY is approaching the project through direct engagement with partners and stakeholders in Vietnam.
This includes working with MoMo, engaging with MSD, exploring local education networks, and gathering insights from students, universities, and other organizations involved in the Korea–Vietnam education ecosystem.
These discussions will help JABLY better understand:
when students begin considering Korea;
where they currently receive information;
which parts of the process create the most uncertainty;
what kinds of support students and families actually need;
and how a digital pathway can reduce unnecessary complexity.
JABLY’s broader mission is to create clearer pathways for international students and global talent in Korea.
Our work increasingly connects three stages of the international student journey:
Study in Korea → Stay in Korea → Build a Career in Korea
The MoMo PoC gives JABLY an opportunity to work further upstream in that journey by supporting students before they arrive in Korea.
At the same time, the project allows us to better understand the needs of Vietnamese students and to develop services that are informed by real local insights rather than assumptions.
Following the kickoff, JABLY will continue the PoC through coaching sessions, partner discussions, local market research, and direct engagement in Vietnam.
The next phase will include closer collaboration with MSD and MoMo, as well as JABLY’s first project-focused business trip to Ho Chi Minh City.
These activities will help refine the target group, student journey, partnership structure, and implementation plan for the PoC.
We will continue documenting the project as it develops, including the lessons we learn from students, universities, and local partners in Vietnam.

After the kickoff, the project moves into coaching sessions, partner discussions, local market research, and field engagement in Vietnam. These activities will help refine the student journey, target group, outreach strategy, and implementation plan for the PoC.
